Description
 
A manager's overview of the concepts of Object-Oriented thinking, how object technology fits into the business project development cycle, and its advantages and disadvantages. Volunteer demonstrations illustrate the concepts and explain the technical buzzwords.
 
Objectives
 
As a result of this course, participants will become familiar with:
  • The paradigm difference between Object Technology and previous methods of project development, including deliverables
  • How Object Technology contributes to the goals of project development and the benefits of Object Technology toward project management
  • The caveats of using Object Technology
  • Fundamental concepts and terminology

Managers, project managers, QA groups, and others taking later courses in the OOA/D series
