Description
 
Through a combination of group projects and lecture, students work with and experience object modeling and requirements validation. This course further develops the concepts learned in the Requirements Management Course (#1203Q).

OOA provides the business and technical model from which the company operates and applications are developed. A good Object Model will validate requirements to provide a good specification and foundation for design.
 
Objectives
 
As a result of this course, participants will:
  • Understand object-oriented domain analysis in a workshop format, modeling business problems and setting up a business or software solution
  • Obtain an in-depth understanding of object modeling and requirements validation
  • Abstract the requirements into reusable, platform-independent objects
  • Course is updated regularly to maintain current best practices in UML and OMB standards
  • Prove their model by exercising use-cases
